Father of infinite mercy
You have sent into the world
Jesus your Son as a gift of hope and life
for the oppressed and suffering:
glorify your faithful Servant
Father Sosio Del Prete.
In his hard-working life
he revealed to the poor and the outcast
the face of your fatherly tenderness,
sharing like the good Samaritan
the sufferings and poverty of his brothers.
Grant us the strength
to follow his example
and through his intercession
a heart capable of loving you in our brothers,
in order to give joyful witness
to the Gospel of your Son Jesus.
